The Chastain Horse Park was introduced to the public in 1999. Spread over 13 acres of land, the park excels in equestrian facilities. Being an equestrian facility since 1939, its popularity as a landmark combined with The Chris and Merry Carlos Horse Park's programs and annual events, will serve to enhance its historical value for years to come.

It is divided into two levels. The first level which houses the Garden Room can accommodate 30 seated guests and 75 in cocktail style. The Banquet Room, on the second level, can accommodate 130 seated guests and 200 in cocktail style.

The park is dedicated to serving horse riders with physical or emotional disabilities. It is privately operated as a non- profit organization, relying on the community for volunteer and donation support.

The facilities include four barns housing 86 stalls to serve the therapeutic and outreach programs. Boarding is also offered, as well as a riding program for the public.

Due to its good work it is designated as Premier Accredited Center by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association ("NARHA").
