Located in stone mountain state park, this golf club was built in 1969 by Robert Trent Jones Sr., father of modern golf architecture. More than just a golf course, it provides a resort – like feel. Just dive 15 minutes east of Atlanta to arrive at your dream golf destination.

This public facility boasts two championship golf courses — both rated 4 stars by Golf Digest Magazine — designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and John LaFoy. It is a picturesque course, with long narrow tree- lined fairways, several holes bordering the Stone Mountain Lake that provide stunning views of Stone Mountain and the Confederate Memorial carving in this sylvan retreat.
Both golf courses snake through a bit of wilderness – a forest of evergreen and hardwood, which enhances its natural beauty. The golf shop is a perennial “Top 100 Golf Shop in America” and contains all the latest equipment and fashion attire. With complete practice facilities, a spectacular restaurant, meeting rooms and two 4- star lodging partners, this resort is a perfect choice for holiday or corporate gathering. The Learning Center at Stone Mountain Golf Club offers instruction for all levels of players from beginners to advanced players. Group lessons are available almost every week.
