Hip and comfortable, Fritti in Atlanta takes you back to sunny Italy. Conceived by Italian born Riccardo Ullio, who was brought up in Georgia, this slice of Italy in a former garage space caters to all your needs.
The menu is full of simple, authentic Italian treats. It features 22 varieties of Neapolitan pizzas prepared in hand- crafted wood- burning ovens. The pizza is characterized by a soft, supple crust with a crisp border graced by high quality toppings. It also offers a variety of Tuscan style wood- roasted meat, great fried appetizers and refreshing salads.
A pair of brick oven centers, a small dining room and a swanky bar adds to its charm. Fritti also offers banquet/private rooms, a smoking and a non- smoking area, wheelchair access and take- out meals. Personal wines are welcome though a corkage fee applies.
The restaurant has won many laurels. It was awarded Three Stars by AJC critic John Kessler and awarded with critic's choice Best Appetizers in Atlanta and Best Pizza by the Creative Loafing.
