Agave is founded by Jack Sobel. It is located in CabbageTown minutes away from Downtown & Virginia Highlands.

Agave is named after the blue agave plant, the source of the finest, premium tequilas in the world. This restored, historic early twentieth century commercial building overlooks the stone wall surrounding Atlanta's legendary Oakland Cemetery. The restaurant blends southwestern cooking with a never ending list of wine.

Distressed support beams and rough, exposed brick combine with the usual assortment of Navajo artifacts and small Southwestern- themed prints to create a space that's inviting and warm. Service is attentive and extremely friendly.

This attractive place houses a tiny open kitchen, bar and a dinning room. From the fresh guacamole to homemade desserts, this restaurant caters to everyone's needs. The Southwestern served here just seem to melt in your mouth. Delicious shredded pork tacos, comforting cayenne fried chicken and rich, spicy posole whet your appetite for more. The service is always very prompt and courteous and the margaritas are always on point. Agave has covered itself in glory by winning Best Margarita award consecutively for the fourth year.
