The Polo Club of Atlanta

Located in Cumming, GA, the Polo Club of Atlanta came into being in 1986. This serene, luxurious facility amidst picturesque rolling hills plays hosts to various polo matches and charity events.
Over the years, the Polo Club of Atlanta hosted several players and teams from Europe and South America. His Royal Highness Prince Charles and the British Polo Team, headed by Major Ronald Ferguson, enchanted audiences at the Polo Fields.
The Polo club received a severe blow with the unexpected, tragic demise of Pat Domenicone in September 2002. Pat died unexpectedly of a heart attack while playing polo in the final stages of one of the many tournaments.
Kim Domenicone who has been involved with horses since 1982, was the Director of Polo for many years. Kim has been organizing horse showing events for hunter/jumpers, competing successfully at the national level.
Kim's love of horses gave birth to the idea of starting pony parties, a petting zoo, play and picnic area, where children can revel to their hearts content.
The children's birthday parties hosted at the club are full of zeal and enthusiasm. They are taken for a ride on a pony. Each ride is hand led by its trained staff.
There are special arrangements for learning to brush, groom and feed the miniature donkey and horse. You can even put ribbons, bows and sparkles in their manes and tails, and dress them up.
