Since its inception way back in 1945, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has carved out a niche for itself in the world of music. It organizes concerts regularly throughout the year at the Woodruff Center in Midtown.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus are known to have performed for an international audience of more than 3,500,000,000 people. Ticket prices vary. Free short- term parking for box office visits is available at the Memorial Arts Building.

As one of the most creative and innovative orchestras in North America, the ASO serves as the cornerstone for musical performances and training far beyond Atlanta's borders, through its various concert series and its diverse initiatives in music education and outreach.

The Orchestra not only popularizes music but also lends a helping hand to people who want to adopt music as a part of their life. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has been playing educational concerts for young people and taking its music into schools, hospitals, and community centers since its earliest days.
