Atlanta Celtic Festival

The Atlanta Celtic Festival is dedicated to the promotion of Celtic culture. It educates the public about the Scottish, Irish, Welsh and other Celtic people. The Celts were a unique race without any empire to call their own.

They were a mass of independent tribes or clans, free to act separately when they so chose, or to form confederacies for common action if necessity demanded. Communication between them was difficult and slow; yet in language, myth, ritual, belief, literature and art, they were one.

History is replete with tales of Celts, a brave and warlike race, who fought using horses and chariots, the use of metals and were acquainted with the art of weaving. The festival continues to attract corporate and institutional sponsors of the highest caliber. Individual VIP Sponsorships are also available. The Atlantic Celtic festival presents a rosy picture of Celtic history which was both rich and varied. Their art work which is full of fancy and imagination is also showcased during the festival. The objects produced by Celtic craftsmen were of elegant form and proportions.
